About Us
The Club was established in 1972 for keen walkers of varying ages and abilities.

Activities include day walks, organised walks over a few days in different locations in Tasmania, backpacking, club meetings and social events.  

About the walks
Program walks are scheduled every Sunday and every second Wednesday.

Walks are graded Easy, Veterans, Easy-Medium, Medium, Medium/Hard, Hard.  Wednesday walks are usually graded Veterans, Easy- Medium.

Meeting places for walks
(unless advised otherwise)

Wednesday walks: Rear car park PCYC cnr Wentworth and Abbott Streets, Launceston.

Weekend walks: Car park, LINC, 8 High Street, Launceston.

The Club is a member of Bushwalking Tasmania.

$35 per annum, due before the 1st July each year.  New members who join after 1st January, pay $15 for the balance of the financial year.

Minors must be accompanied by a member, capable of completing the walk and equipped appropriately for the walk.
